I just picked up MY supplies to dig in to this NEW phase (for me) of crafting.

I went to Harbor Freight (hardware, manly-type store with TONS of Girly-type crafting items!!) and picked up my Air Eraser, some Aluminum Oxide, some Walnut Shells (fine crush), and a 3-gallon Pancake Compressor. (I bought the AO and the Walnut Shells to see which I prefer for different etching projects.)

I also picked up a 14-gallon Rubbermaid tote, some 4" couplings from the plumbing dept, some heavy-duty gloves, and a piece of Plexiglass. I will make my "sand-blasting" cabinet using these items.

From what I've been reading, this is a FUN follow-on to our cutters. We use the cutter to make a stencil (Contact Paper works for that I've read) then use the Air Eraser for the "etched" finish.

If I do not get the effect I am hoping, I'll go back and purchase the Airbrush Kit. I THINK I read that "we" are using the AO and/or Walnut Shells with the Airbrush kit....? (Will keep you posted on that.)
